Keep rocks, grit, dried paint and other potentially hazardous contaminants from getting into your pump and causing serious trouble by replacing your inlet strainer (aka rock screen) often. A particle as small as a grain of sand in your pump can quickly destroy your packings and cause eventual pump failure. A good strainer will filter out any damaging particles while still flowing well enough to keep the pump's gun well fed with paint.
This version features a stainless steel cap. This is a single mesh screen used in applications of heavy body materials. For a finer, double mesh screen use #181072.
