You need to replace your sleeve if it is worn beyond .004” in the inside diameter of the sleeve. This typically can be seen (or felt) at the middle of the stroke area on the inside walls of the sleeve. Also if there are pits, scratches, or areas that don’t look like a nice new chrome bumper on a car, the sleeve should be replaced! .
Worn sleeves will damage the new packing/seals and cause shortened life of your repair.
Always check your manual for your applicatioin.
Don't forget to purchase a new packing kit for your repair..
This sleeve replaces Graco 183361, 183-361.
