If you note material leaking out the top of the piston rod area into the upper gear/drive head you must replace this item before further damage occurs.
If your Graco Magnum paint pump isn't performing like it once did, this is the easiest rebuild kit you'll find. The Magnum, ASM and Allpro pumps can accept this kit. It includes the entire pump rod and seal unit at one reasonable price! That way, it's an easy swap, and you are off and painting again. Many painters keep an extra replacement pump on hand in case of a failure on site.
This kit is built by Graco, not an aftermarket company, so you know it’ll last. Was Graco 243090 now is number 288818. This also replaces the ASM Part Number 244569.
