There can be many symptoms of a bad inlet valve on your pump. The most common of which is difficulty priming your pump. Replace it with a new Graco quality inlet valve. Inlet valves are a wear items and replacement is recommended for regular pump maintenance. Don't overlook the outlet valve (#243094) as these are also wear items and can cause pressure and prime problems.
Always check your manual for your application!

Graco Magnum XR-5 w/ 1/2" Pipe Thread.
Graco Magnum XR-7 w/ 1/2" Pipe Thread.
Graco Magnum XR-9 w/ 1/2" Pipe Thread.
Note: ALWAYS check your manual for proper applications. This inlet valve only works on the XR-5, XR-7, and XR-9's 1/2" Pipe Thread to connect the siphone hose to the valve. If your machine has a tubing to connect to a hose barb, use part number 245070 (245-070).
